Registered Nurse - (Wollongong/ Nowra) PT

We are currently seeking Registered Nurse who is passionate about the care, and medical care, of complex care participants in the community.  
The key purpose of this role is to undertake a variety of general nursing duties under the direction of the Head of Clinical Care including client’s assessment, medication management, care planning/plan review and liaising with appropriate stakeholders to ensure appropriate care for clients in accordance with Maxlife Care Mission Statement.   

Responsibilities; 
You will collaborate with the Operations Team to achieve the clinical strategic objectives; 

• Use your growth mindset to promote a continuous improvement program to ensure standards of care are upheld, exceeded and maintained. 
• Acts as a role model and mentor for Area Managers, Team Leaders, DSWE and colleagues.  
• Develop and review of new and existing relevant protocols.  
• Provide relevant care and clinical training to ensure staff competence –delivering education and training to our front-line workers. 
• Attend to Clients as and when required to deliver specific clinical care / interventions (ie wound care, supra pubic catheter care, skin care)  
• Attend and actively participate in client meetings as a representative of the clinical team. 
• You will also review / analyze incident reports in conjunction with the Head of Risk, and advise the Chief Medical Officer of related issues. 

To be successful in this position, you will have the following; 

• Be an AHPRA registered nurse. 
• Qualifications in relevant field and minimum 2 years’ experience working in a clinical role will be advantageous. 
• Flexible to travel, with a current Driver’s License & own car, 
• Possess strong focus on person centered, exceptional care and a commitment to quality client outcomes. 
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.  
• The ability to manage change and provide responsive services to meet client needs.
