REMOTE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – WORK FROM ANYWHERE IN AUSTRALIA – CHARTERED ACCOUNTING FIRM (JOB ID 892)

Our client is a respected Mackay-based firm serving clients nationwide across small to medium businesses and not-for-profits. The Role: 

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across accounting, tax, and advisory services  

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for a variety of entities  

• Provide technical advice on accounting and tax matters to clients  

• Work closely with Partners and senior staff to deliver tailored business solutions  

• Mentor junior staff and support the ongoing development of the team  

• Utilise cloud accounting and remote collaboration tools to support clients nationwide  

About You: 

• CA or CPA qualified with strong public practice experience  

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting and taxation  

• Technically confident with excellent problem-solving skills  

• Strong communication and client relationship management abilities  

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment  

• Experienced in cloud accounting software and remote collaboration tools
