About the RoleThe Water Literacy Education Program Lead plays a meaningful role in helping Melbourne’s communities better understand, value and connect with water. This role leads the design and delivery of engaging education programs for schools, community groups and broader audiences, bringing Melbourne Water’s water literacy priorities to life through creative, inclusive and accessible learning experiences.
Working across both digital and in-person formats, the role is responsible for developing innovative education content, strengthening program impact, and ensuring learning experiences are aligned with curriculum outcomes, community needs and Melbourne Water’s broader strategic objectives.
With a strong focus on innovation, stakeholder engagement, team leadership and continuous improvement, the role supports meaningful community connection while building awareness of Melbourne Water’s vital role in caring for water, life and land

The successful candidate will be a passionate education leader with the ability to inspire learning, build meaningful relationships, and create engaging experiences that connect communities with Melbourne Water's purpose.
A National Police and Working with Children’s Check alongside a Victorian Driver’s license is required for this role.
This role is hybrid, and involves regular travel to educational, office and operational sites across greater Melbourne.
