Value-Added Sales Manager

THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity exists in Port Melbourne, VIC for a commercially driven red meat sales professional to drive growth across further processed, portion-controlled and ready-to-cook products. Reporting to the Group Commercial Manager, you will manage key customer relationships, secure new business and develop profitable sales opportunities across retail, food service and distribution.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grow revenue and market share across value-added beef products.
• Manage and develop key customer relationships.
• Secure new high-volume contracts and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Drive profitable sales across retail and food service.
• Identify new product and market opportunities.
• Work closely with production, marketing, QA and operations teams.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, stock and competitor activity.
• Contribute to new product development and commercialisation.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years' B2B sales experience in beef processing or the red meat sector.
• Strong understanding of value-added meat processing.
• Proven success in sales growth, negotiation and account management.
• Strong commercial acumen, including margins, pricing and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with retail, food service or food distribution customers is highly desirable.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications are advantageous.
