Role Description This full-time Contract Administrator role is based in Sydney, NSW and offered on a hybrid basis, combining on-site work with some work from home. The Contract Administrator will manage the end-to-end administration of contracts, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining contract documentation and records. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting contract negotiations, coordinating approvals, monitoring contract performance against key terms, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to clarify requirements, track milestones, manage variations, and address queries or issues in a timely manner. The Contract Administrator will also assist with procurement activities, contribute to process improvements, and provide regular reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong contract management and contract administration skills, including experience maintaining accurate records and tracking key milestones.Candidates should possess contract negotiation and procurement skills, with the ability to work with suppliers and stakeholders to achieve fair, compliant, and cost-effective outcomes.Candidates should possess analytical skills, including the ability to interpret contract terms, assess risks, and prepare clear reports and recommendations.Candidates should possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and management.Relevant qualifications in business, law, commerce, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in contract administration or procurement.Proficiency with contract management systems and standard office software (e.g., MS Office suite), with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage competing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement of contract and procurement processes.Experience in professional services, facilities, or service-based industries is beneficial but not essential.
