Key Responsibilities

· Monitoring lending products and market trends, and researching and developing appropriate loan strategies with team members.

· Interviewing clients to explain mortgage policies, fees, requirements and risks associated with finance; understanding customers’ needs to help them achieve their financial goals.

· Analysing clients’ financial requirements, checking client’s borrowing capacity and initial credit assessments to recommend combination of loans available in the market, advising and developing different finance options and products available to meet clients’ goals & objectives

· Completing fact finds and collecting relevant supporting documents, checking and validating loan documents including home loans, car loans, personal loans and asset/ equipment finance, conducting regular compliance checks on all files and ensuring accurate and compliant submission.

· Recognizing and advising significant risks associated with mortgages.

· Managing the loan application process from interviewing clients through to loan settlement, completing and lodging applications through Podium & Apply Online

· Providing advice on complex financial requirements including residential, commercial, business and equipment finance, preparing and ordering property valuations and land title searches

· Liaising with banks, accountants, conveyancers/ solicitors, real estate agents and dealers to ensure smooth lending experience and settlements are met on time.

· Keeping up to date with the different loan policies, procedures, products and features offered by the banks to ensure all the applications are up-to-date and in-line for credit assessment.

· Providing follow-up service to ensure customers keep up to date with the loan process and requirement.

Requirements

· Minimum 1 year experience of mortgage finance broking industry

· Certificate IV in finance and mortgage broking

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, competency in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi will be highly regarded due to the diverse linguistic background of our client base.

· Experience with My CRM and Apply Online would be highly regarded

· Strong Microsoft Office & data entry skills

· Experience in mortgage broking, loan processing and/or credit assessment.

· Bachelor in business or related field would be highly regarded

· Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
