Your next career opportunity  
 As a Liaison Librarian, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, scalable programs that empower students and researchers. You will collaborate with academic and professional staff to align library services with the University's research and teaching priorities. This role offers you the chance to enhance your expertise in scholarly information and use data and feedback to contribute to innovative library service improvements. 

What you will deliver:  

• Develop and Deliver Library Services: Create impactful programs and resources to support students and staff in teaching, learning, and research. 

• Collaborate for Consistency: Work with Scholarly Services colleagues to ensure cohesive and quality end-user experiences across library services. 

• Build Strategic Relationships: Cultivate connections with faculty academics and staff to deliver effective library initiatives and services. 

• Innovate and Improve Practices: Contribute to continuous improvement projects, using data and stakeholder feedback to inform business enhancements. 

• Maintain disciplinary and collections knowledge in Fine Arts and Music and contribute to collection development and review. 

You may be a great fit if you:  

• Have experience in academic librarianship and a passion for enhancing library services in a collaborative and innovative environment. 

• Hold tertiary qualifications in librarianship or a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience and training. 

• Meet eligibility requirements for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). 

• Demonstrate knowledge, experience and skills in contemporary academic librarianship relevant to learning, research and collections management services and advice. 

• Demonstrate strong digital skills and knowledge of academic library technologies. 

• Exhibit professional interpersonal and communication skills, with a creative approach to problem-solving. 

• Possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative to drive excellence in library services. 

You may also have: 

• Experience or knowledge relevant to Fine Arts and Music, and knowledge of resources and databases in associated disciplines.
