Salary Range: $85,694 to $141,638 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role    

A Health and Physical Education (HPE) Teacher educates students about health, wellbeing, and physical activity while promoting healthy lifestyle choices. They plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ physical skills, fitness, teamwork, and understanding of personal health. HPE teachers create safe and inclusive learning environments, assess student progress, and encourage participation in sports and recreational activities. Through their teaching, they help students build confidence, resilience, and lifelong habits that support their physical, mental, and social wellbeing.

• Bachelor of Education or Master of Teacher
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People clearance
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
• Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
