Grounds Person & Allrounder

Position Type: Full-Time 

About Us: We are a luxury wedding, events and accommodation venue. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and versatile Grounds Person & Allrounder to join our team. If you are passionate about maintaining beautiful, safe environments and enjoy variety in your daily tasks, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and care for outdoor areas including lawns, gardens, and pathways

• Perform general grounds maintenance such as mowing, weeding, tidying and pruning

• Ensure all outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing

• Assist with basic carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance tasks as required

• Operate gardening tools and machinery safely and efficiently

• Assist with event setups, equipment moves, and general labour tasks

• Monitor and report any issues or repairs needed on-site

• Collaborate with the Estates Manager to ensure efficient completion of all tasks

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance roles

• Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers)

• General handyman skills for basic maintenance tasks

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for outdoor work

• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour

• Excellent communication and team-working skills

• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks

• A valid driver’s license and own vehicle required.
