About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our professional Logistics team, operating modern Mercedes-Benz Actros prime movers based at our Withcott Seedlings site.

The role will commence in a casual capacity with the potential to transition to permanent full time, offering flexibility and long-term opportunities.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality seedlings to customers across our network. This position involves interstate travel, multi-drop deliveries, and requires flexibility, including weekend work. If you are safety-focused, reliable, and take pride in delivering great service, this is a rewarding opportunity within a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

Transport & Delivery

·         Operate MC trucks and trailers to deliver products to customer farms in accordance with site requirements.

·         Complete multi-drop runs, including loading and unloading at each delivery point.

·         Liaise with management regarding delivery schedules and timelines.

·         Ensure all delivery documentation is accurate and signed by customers.

Vehicle & Compliance

·         Conduct daily pre-start checks on trucks and trailers.

·         Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation standards.

·         Ensure compliance with fatigue management and transport regulations.

·         Maintain accurate records, including logbooks and delivery documentation.

·         Work safely and efficiently while meeting operational deadlines.

Customer Service & Operations

·         Provide a professional and positive customer experience at all delivery locations.

·         Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.

·         Support continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies within logistics operations.

About You

We are looking for a reliable and motivated professional who thrives in a hands-on role and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. You will bring:

Essential

·         Current MC Driver’s Licence with experience operating B-double combinations.

·         Current forklift licence.

·         Strong understanding of transport safety and compliance requirements.

·         Good communication, organisation, and time management skills.

·         Ability to meet delivery deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

·         Basic computer skills, including use of mobile apps for time and logbook systems.

·         Positive attitude and team-focused approach.

Desirable

·         Experience operating tractors with front-end forks.

·         Customer-facing experience and ability to represent the company professionally.
