ICT Change and Training Specialist

Support the successful adoption and effective use of ICT systems through structured organisational change management, targeted communications, system training and ongoing user support.

The role is responsible for change planning, training needs analysis, training collateral, communications and adoption activities associated with ICT platforms, implementations and upgrades. It does not encompass broader organisational learning, professional development or non-ICT training activities managed by Learning and Development

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive Organisational Change Management (OCM) plans for ICT initiatives and internal business applications.
• Support successful adoption of new systems, upgrades, enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Monitor change impacts, stakeholder readiness, risks, and adoption outcomes, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Design, develop, and deliver engaging ICT training programs for system implementations, upgrades, and business-as-usual operations.
• Facilitate onboarding, refresher, and targeted training sessions across various business functions.
• Conduct training needs analyses and tailor learning solutions to suit different user groups and operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain ICT training plans aligned to project schedules, technology roadmaps, and system lifecycle changes
• Identify knowledge gaps and implement targeted interventions to improve user competency and system utilisation.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to align ICT training activities with organisational learning standards and governance
• Ensure projects operate in accordance with ICT governance, change management, security, and quality standards

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in ICT change management, training delivery, communications, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience delivering training across enterprise applications such as ERP, HRIS, CRM, document management, or other business systems
• Strong knowledge of Organisational Change Management principles and methodologies.
• Experience developing training materials and delivering engaging system-based training programs.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and user-friendly documentation and communications.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
• Experience working within ICT project environments and supporting system implementations.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Analytical skills with the ability to assess training effectiveness and measure adoption outcomes.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach and a passion for helping people embrace technology

Qualification

• Qualification in Change Management, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, Learning & Development, or a related discipline
