Entry Level Payroll Officer – Sunshine Coast

About the Role

We are seeking an Entry Level Payroll Officer to join our team on the Sunshine Coast.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll, maintaining employee records, and supporting payroll compliance across the business.

This role suits someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and confidentiality are critical.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Be self-motivated and able to prioritise competing tasks

• Possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Have the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the existing payroll team to process and prepare weekly payroll accurately and on time

• Reconcile payroll accounts before and after payroll processing

• Prepare and issue employment contracts, offer letters and employment variations

• Create and maintain accurate employee records

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and legislative requirements

• Support the Payroll Manager with general payroll administration and reporting
