Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical fitting, repairs and component replacements across crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps and other fixed‑plant equipment

• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot breakdowns and complete timely repairs to minimise production delays

• Carry out welding, fabrication‑related fitting, drilling, tapping and assembly tasks as required

• Support shutdowns, planned maintenance and project works with safe, efficient execution

• Perform alignment, torqueing, tensioning and flange management to site standards

• Requirements

• Documented experience as a Mechanical Fitter – fixed plant

• Strong understanding of hydraulics (preferred)

• Experience with crushing and screening circuits

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently

• Relevant trade qualifications and certifications
