About Us
The Gynaecology Services sits within Women's, Newborn and Children's Services at Gold Coast University Hospital, delivering an integrated portfolio of women's health services across high-volume outpatient, elective and acute surgical pathways. The service line encompasses B3N Gynecology Inpatients, General Gynecology, Acute Gynecology Unit (AGU) Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain, Early Pregnancy Assessment and Management Service (EPAMS), Gynecology Oncology, Urogynecology, Pelvic Mesh, Colposcopy, Post-Operative Discharge and Support Services (PODSS), and Breast Screen. We operate in a tertiary, multidisciplinary environment with strong linkages to perioperative, oncology and ambulatory care, underpinned by evidence-based practice, safety and quality systems, and digital-health enablement. The Practice Development Nurse works within an education team, supporting and supervising staff in their learning and development activities.
