About us
Better Tomorrow Support Services is a leading NDIS registered provider of disability support services in south-east Queensland. About You
Successful applicants will have at least 2 years’ experience supporting people with disabilities who have high and complex behavioural needs, including challenging behaviours. Experience as a mental health worker and a strong person‑centred approach are highly valued.
You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well‑organised, and able to work flexibly across both day and active night shifts. You will be committed to delivering high‑quality, professional supports, open to training, and able to prioritise tasks while working effectively within a team.
A solid understanding of the legislative framework, including restrictive practices and their ethical, compliant use, is essential. Your ability to build rapport, uphold dignity, and tailor support to each individual’s unique needs will be highly regarded.
What you'll be doing
Assisting participant in Beaudesert with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks and health care needs
Accompanying participant to appointments, community activities, and social events
Providing behaviour support and encouraging participants to develop their skills and independence
Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client care
Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
What we're looking for
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, supporting individuals with disabilities who have high and complex behavioural needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with clients
A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A current Australian driver's licence
A valid First Aid and CPR certificate and NDIS workers screening card
Available for a variety of day, afternoon and active night shifts
