Distribution Overhead Linesman

Geographe Underground Services is a long-standing utility contractor specialising in Directional Drilling, Trenching, Electrical, Communications and Overhead services.

Geographe Underground Services (GUS) are seeking the services of a full time experienced Western Power authorised Cert III Distribution Overhead Lineworker.

With our Head Office based in Bunbury, and a Metro Depot in Neerabup, we service the South West, Perth Metro, Eastern and Northern corridors of Western Australia.  These roles are predominantly working with our Perth operations (focusing on Western Power scope), but may be required to travel from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Distribution Linework on Western Power's network, including Streetlight maintenance, Pole to Pillar installations, Distribution linework

• Ensuring work is performed to specifications;

• Adherence to all safety policies and procedures in accordance with Energy Safety, Western Power and internal Company Policy;

• Attention to detail and the ability to operate under pressure within a team to delivery projects;

• Show high regard for personal safety and the safety of work crews.

Highly Regarded Skills

• Western Power Accredited Cert III Distribution Overhead line work (essential);

• Western Power Network Access Card (BNA) (essential);

• Senior First Aid Certificate and current CPR (essential);

• OHS Construction Card (essential);

• Current valid Driver's License (HR) (essential);

• Western Power Switching Levels HOU, LOU & eNAR requester (desirable);
