Who We Are

VM Physiotherapy provides home visiting Physiotherapy services by an experienced team of therapists to clients throughout Victoria for the last 10+ years. They include clients with all types of Neurological conditions, Disabilities or transport accident injuries such as Acquired Brain Injuries (including Traumatic Brain Injuries or Strokes), Multiple Sclerosis, Concussion, Vestibular conditions, Parkinson's Disease to name a few. Clients are seen in their community including in their home, residential care setting, gym or pool or anywhere else mutually agreed with the client. All therapists have extensive experience, work extensively with complex clients and closely with large multidisciplinary Allied Health teams. The Role

• Subcontractor role 

• Three to four days required with potential to increase

• Immediate start

• Flexible hours and travel reimbursements

• See clients with all types of Neurological conditions (mainly acquired brain injuries and strokes), disabilities or transport accident injuries

• Requirement to travel to do 1:1 tailored therapy sessions in the community with clients, including in a client's home, residential care setting, gym or pool, to help them achieve their goals. There is no work in a clinic base.

• Therapy may include education, exercise prescription, carer training and report writing along with working with other multidisciplinary team members.

• Ability to work independently and autonomously

• Regular team professional development and case study sessions.

Minimum Requirements

• Own ABN

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree (or higher)

• Full unrestricted AHPRA registration; no overseas or sponsorship applicants please 

• Willing to work with Neurological and Disability clients

• Minimum 3 years experience working with Neurological and Disability clients including in acquired brain injury

• Australian permanent residency 

• Professional indemnity insurance and Public Liability Insurance

• Valid driver's licence, own car and willing to travel to see clients in their home or community

• Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Ability to work independently 

• APA Membership (desirable)
