Personal Care Worker - In Home Aged Care

About the role

You'll provide personalised support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Mobility and daily living support
• Meal preparation and light domestic assistance
• Companionship and community access
• Following individual care plans and support requirements
• Recognising and reporting changes in a client's health or wellbeing
• Maintaining accurate care documentation
• Working closely with our care and clinical team

About you

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or equivalent
• Experience supporting older people
• A caring, reliable and professional approach
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Confidence using mobile technology and electronic care systems
• A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to meet applicable aged care worker screening requirements
