Speech Pathologist (Full-time or Part-time)

About the role

Kids and Cubs Clinic is seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team in Balmain, NSW for a full-time or part-time role. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based and family-centred assessment and intervention services to our paediatric clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, or communication concerns in children

• Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to help clients achieve their communication goals

• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care

• Monitor client progress and adjust therapy plans as needed

• Maintain detailed client records and documentation

• Outreach to local community childcares or schools to provide preventative care, health promotion and early intervention

• Support the development of intervention programs at Kids and Cubs Clinic

About you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent

• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)

• Experience of 12 - 18 months or greater is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families and other healthcare professionals

• Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team

• Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families
