Assembly Labourer / Factory Hand
Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 2:30pm | Friday, 6:00am - 12:00pm
Pay Rate: $35.56/hr + Super
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:25pm - 11:00pm | Friday, 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $41.92/hr + Super
Job Scope: Assembling bespoke windows, doors and flyscreens, safely handling and moving glass products, assisting with glass processing duties, completing quality checks, measuring products against specifications and maintaining clean and tidy production areas within a modern manufacturing facility.
Requirements: Previous factory, manufacturing or labouring experience and experience using hand and power tools. Good attention to detail, strong communication skills, commitment to safety and willingness to learn. Current driver's licence and reliable transport required.
 
Glass Processor / CNC Operator
Permanent Position
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 2:30pm | Friday, 6:00am - 12:00pm
Pay Rate: $32.00 - $35.00/hr + Super + Penalties, pending experience
Job Scope: Operating modern glass processing and CNC machinery, programming machinery, producing drawings, accurately processing glass products, checking measurements and finished products, completing production documentation and maintaining a safe and organised production environment.
Requirements: Previous machinery operation experience within a manufacturing or production environment. Glass industry experience is highly desirable, with relevant experience from other industries also considered. Ability to read measurements and drawings, strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
 
Glass Cutter
Permanent Position
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 2:30pm | Friday, 6:00am - 12:00pm
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $32.00/hr + Super
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:25pm - 11:10pm | Friday, 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $37.00 - $40.00/hr + Super
Job Scope: Cutting float and laminated glass to job specifications using modern automated cutting equipment, preparing optimisation programs, checking glass thickness and quality, measuring finished products, safely handling and stacking glass, managing offcuts and maintaining clean and safe production areas.
Requirements: Previous manufacturing, warehousing or production experience. Glass cutting experience is highly regarded. Strong attention to detail, ability to work accurately to measurements and specifications, reliable work ethic and commitment to workplace safety.
