Maintenance Projects Manager

About The Role

Ventia have a new position available for an experienced Maintenance Projects Manager to support the delivery of programmed maintenance, technical services and minor works under the Department of Transport & Major Infrastructure contract based in Fremantle, WA.

Reporting to the Maintenance Services Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day operations, supervising teams and subcontractors, managing project delivery, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This position also provides an excellent pathway for career progression into a senior maintenance leadership role.

This is a Permanent full-time position paying a salary package of $165,000 inclusive of Super + Tool of trade vehicle.

As The Maintenance Projects Manager, You Will

Coordinate and deliver maintenance programs and minor works projects safely and on scheduleSupport resource planning, procurement, budgeting and subcontractor managementSupervise and provide day-to-day direction to site teams and contractorsMonitor project performance, safety, quality, risks and contract complianceConduct site inspections and ensure adherence to permit-to-work systemsLiaise with clients, stakeholders and operational personnel to support service deliveryMaintain accurate records and contribute to operational and KPI reportingDrive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, efficiency and service deliveryPromote a strong safety culture and support Ventia's Zero Harm commitment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience as a Project Manager within the maintenance, facilities, construction, infrastructure or a related industryExperience coordinating maintenance activities, minor projects, employees and subcontractorsStrong understanding of safety, quality, risk management and permit-to-work systemsExcellent planning, organisational and stakeholder management skillsStrong communication and leadership capabilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsA commitment to safety, teamwork and delivering high-quality outcomes
