Senior Operations Manager

ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead operations, business development, and delivery a multibillion-dollar infrastructure program in North Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the pavements and asphalt market.
• Build strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
• Lead the planning and delivery strategy for secured work.
• Oversee the Gladstone production operation, including production, estimating, and project engineering functions.
• Coordinate Project Managers, Project Engineers, and operational resources to deliver projects successfully.
• Drive strong commercial, safety, quality, and operational outcomes.
• Maintain a strong presence across the Queensland coast, traveling as required to meet with clients and operational teams.

About You

• Senior operational management experience within civil construction, asphalt, pavements, or road infrastructure.
• Proven track record in business development and securing new work.
• Strong commercial, project, and financial management skills.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experienced in leading teams and coordinating resources across multiple business units.
• Strategic, commercially focused, and hands-on approach to operations.
• Willingness to travel across Queensland.

Benefits

• Salary: $180k–$190k base + super + vehicle, negotiable depending on experience.
• Can be based in Sunshine Coast, Gladstone, or Mackay.
