About the Role

As part of our nursing team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and support to their families.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Assisting veterinarians during consultations, examinations and procedures
• Providing high-quality surgical and hospital nursing care
• Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patients throughout surgery
• Delivering pre- and post-operative patient care
• Administering medications and preparing treatments
• Managing patient admissions and discharges
• Communicating treatment plans and patient updates with clients
• Blood collection, pathology testing and IV catheter placement
• Assisting with diagnostic imaging including X-rays and ultrasound
• Supporting dental procedures, including scale and polish and dental radiography
• Providing compassionate care during challenging and end-of-life situations
• Working collaboratively to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
• Helping maintain the smooth day-to-day running of our busy hospital

About You

You're an experienced Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.

You'll bring:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Veterinary Nurse
• Strong medical and surgical nursing skills
• Confidence monitoring anaesthesia
• Excellent patient handling and nursing care
• Great communication and client service skills
• The ability to stay calm, organised and proactive in a busy hospital
• A genuine passion for animal welfare
• A positive attitude and willingness to support your teammates
