About the role
This varied role combines customer service, logistics, stock control and precast production. You will support the daily operations of a concrete and precast business, moving between office duties and hands-on production work. The successful applicant must be willing and physically able to step into the precast shed and manufacture products when required.
Key responsibilities
Support the Operations Manager by answering phones, booking jobs and keeping customers informed
Process precast orders and respond to customer enquiries
Coordinate deliveries and customer collections
Monitor stock levels and order materials and supplies
Prepare purchase orders and maintain supplier paperwork
Pack, label and prepare pallets for delivery
Manufacture precast products, including preparing moulds, pouring concrete, stripping products and resetting the work area
Operate a forklift and provide general assistance in the yard when required
About you
Organised, reliable and confident communicating with customers
Comfortable moving between office duties and hands-on production work
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Experience in precast, concrete, manufacturing, warehousing or construction is advantageous
A current forklift licence is desirable but not essential
