Keep critical equipment running. Keep customers confident.Soniclean® is looking for a hands-on Biomedical Service Technician to join our team in Adelaide. You'll be the person clinics and facilities trust to keep their ultrasonic cleaning systems running safely, reliably, and to spec — from first installation through years of ongoing service.If you're the kind of technician who can trace a fault through an electronic control system, explain it clearly to a customer who isn't technical, and drive to the next job with the right parts already in the van — we want to talk to you.You are customer focused, take pride in getting things right, and enjoys being part of a small, supportive team.
What you'll doInstall, commission, and service Soniclean® ultrasonic cleaning systems at customer sites across the regionPerform preventative and corrective maintenance, keeping equipment operating safely and efficientlyDiagnose electronic and mechanical faults, and complete repairs and calibrations in line with technical standards and regulatory requirementsConduct field service visits, document your work, and maintain accurate service recordsGive customers clear, practical guidance on how to operate and care for their equipmentWork closely with customers and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and support long-term product reliability
What you bring5+ years' experience as a Service TechnicianStrong maintenance and repair skills, ideally with electro-mechanical or biomedical equipmentAdvanced troubleshooting ability across electronic control systems, sensors, and mechanical componentsField service experience — on-site diagnostics, installation, and commissioning in clinical or technical environmentsClear communication and customer service skills; comfortable managing expectations and training end usersA certificate or diploma in electronics, biomedical engineering technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)Confidence reading technical drawings, service manuals, and schematicsA solid grasp of safety standards and regulatory requirements for medical devices and clinical equipmentGood organisational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with basic computer applications for reportingA valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the regionFull Australian working rights.
