Finance Accounts Manager

We are a Northern Territory based group of companies with interests across the following sectors;

·         Primary Production (Cattle)

·         Hospitality and Tourism

·         Furniture and electrical appliance retail store

·         Tyre retailing

·         Commercial property

We are seeking a Finance Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of our group of companies.
  
About the role

• Prepare and process Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

• Preparation of employment contracts and associated clerical tasks relating to employee on boarding.

• Administration of intragroup transactions.

• Monitor daily cash flow for the group of companies.

• Deliver high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders.

• Undertake debtor control for the group of companies.

• Provide timely financial insights and reports to support decision-making. Assisting with financial reporting requirements for the group of companies as required.

  • This will include but not limited to providing accurate and timely financial reports, preparing activity statements, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations.

• Adhere to and reinforce WHS policies, proactively contributing to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

• Undertake other duties as directed by the company Directors and senior staff.

About you

• Experience with Xero accounting software or similar software/s.

• Relevant experience in a complex accounting environment.

• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.

• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

• Strong analytical skills, with a sharp eye for detail.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Punctual and Reliable

• Willing to get involved in the business and assist the team in all areas of the business.
