Social Walking Group Leader

For nearly 20 years, this popular program has brought together a diverse group of committed walkers. As our Social Walking Group Leader, you'll guide relaxed weekly walks at a comfortable pace, welcome new participants, and help create a warm, inclusive environment where friendships and conversations can flourish.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, building connections, and taking on an informal leadership role within the community. Along the way, you'll help reduce social isolation and support the wellbeing of others.

We're looking for someone who:
• Has a genuine interest in walking and community wellbeing
• Enjoys connecting people and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Can commit every Monday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm for at least 6 months
• Is confident communicating any safety concerns and assisting with basic group coordination

No previous experience is required, just enthusiasm, reliability, and a passion for helping others feel included.
