Facility Manager

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager or Clinical Manager to provide efficient and effective leadership at our Carrington residence located in Hamilton Hill. As a key member of the Aegis leadership team, you will be accountable for the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the Facility, while being empowered to manage and influence your own business unit with the support of a broader executive and professional services team. This role is a fulltime position, Monday through to Friday.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead clinical excellence, operational performance, and resident experience, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and service delivery are consistently achieved.

In this senior leadership role, you will:

• Drive quality in care, therapy, hospitality & customer service to ensure excellence is maintained in line with Aegis’ vision, mission, and values.
• Provide strong clinical leadership and governance to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care
• Ensure full compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, Aegis policies, and relevant legislation
• Manage financial and material resources effectively, including the development and delivery of annual business plans and budgets
• Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams to achieve high performance and positive workplace culture
• Act as a role model, living and promoting Aegis’ values in all aspects of leadership and decision-making
• Lead, coach and direct all human resources functions to ensure the delivery of quality care and lifestyle as well as support service in terms of Aegis expectations and values.

You are a confident, compassionate, and capable leader who is passionate about aged care and able to inspire excellence in others. You will demonstrate:

• Strong people leadership and communication skills
• The ability to engage effectively with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders
• Proven capability in leading, coaching, and developing diverse teams
• Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• The ability to identify and manage clinical risk in a residential aged care setting
• Flexibility in responding to resident choice and changing care needs
• The confidence and professionalism to manage conflict effectively
