Station Hand

Vault Minerals Limited is a leading intermediate gold producer listed on the ASX, with a diversified portfolio of operating assets across Western Australia and Canada. Formerly known as Red 5 Limited, the company rebranded to Vault Minerals in September 2024 to reflect its scale, strength, and growth ambitions.

Melrose and Tarmoola stations are located in the Northern Goldfields (Shire of Leonora), covering an area of approximately 400,000 ha. The stations are owned by Vault Minerals and run as operational cattle stations.

The role of Station Hand is a versatile role will and will require a range of skills, including general station duties and maintaining equipment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a remote, outdoor environment and will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

This role will follow a "work as required" schedule, typically based on a 6:1 (days) roster. While additional hours may be required to meet station needs, accrued time off will be provided as needed.

• Base salary + superannuation on fortnightly pay

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage a variety of tasks, including bore running and general station hand responsibilities.
• Off-road driving ensuring safe transport of materials and personnel
• use of station equipment 
• Mechanically inclined: Able to perform basic mechanical repairs, including tire changes and maintenance on various station equipment.
• Station Maintenance: Assist with station upkeep, ensuring equipment and living quarters are well-maintained.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

About You:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role 
• A strong commitment to safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination
• MC Driver’s License and Heavy Machinery competence (desirable)
• Full Australian Work rights
