WANTED - Store Managers, Assistant Managers and Department managers for IGA

Pham Group is an established and growing family-owned supermarket group operating independently owned supermarkets across the Perth metropolitan area.

We are seeking expressions of interest for the following positions across our Perth stores:

• Store Managers

• Assistant Store Managers

• Duty Managers

• Deli Managers

• Front End Managers

Experienced supermarket Department Managers looking to progress into broader store management positions are also encouraged to apply.

Depending on the position, your responsibilities may include:

• Driving store sales, gross profit and overall operational performance

• Monitoring sales, wages, gross profit and other key performance indicators

• Managing stock levels, ordering and inventory to maximise profitability and minimise stock loss and wastage

• Leading, motivating and developing team members

• Rostering, recruitment, training and performance management

• Maintaining high standards of customer service, presentation and store execution

• Working collaboratively with department managers and the wider management team

• Identifying opportunities to improve store performance and operational effectiveness

• Planning and executing promotional activities and merchandising displays

• Maintaining high standards of food safety, workplace health and safety and regulatory compliance

• Leading by example and creating a positive, productive workplace culture

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Strong leadership and people-management skills

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in supermarket retail or a comparable management environment

• Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Duty Manager or Department Manager highly regarded

• Experience within Grocery, Deli, Meat, Dairy, Fruit & Vegetable or Front End operations advantageous

• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of sales, gross profit, wages, stock control and loss prevention

• Good organisational and problem-solving skills

• Confidence using computer systems, including POS and back-office retail systems

• A sound understanding of workplace health and safety and food safety requirements

• The ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships

• A hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the floor

• Flexibility to work across a 7-day trading environment, including weekends and public holidays where required
