Lead, Inspire & Make an Impact in Acute Speech Pathology
Join Logan Hospital as a Senior Speech Pathologist and provide expert clinical care across ICU, ED, stroke, cancer, medical and surgical services.
Your new role:
As a Senior Speech Pathologist at Logan Hospital, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based Speech Pathology services across a diverse range of acute inpatient settings, including ICU, ED, MAPU, stroke, cancer care, and medical and surgical wards. Working as part of a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will use your advanced clinical judgement to manage complex presentations, provide expert advice and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
You will also play an important role in developing our Speech Pathology service, supporting the growth of less experienced clinicians and students, and contributing to education, quality improvement and research initiatives.
About you:
You are an experienced Speech Pathologist who thrives in a complex acute environment and is confident managing a varied workload across multiple clinical areas. You bring strong clinical reasoning, communication and leadership skills, along with a commitment to evidence-based practice and improving patient outcomes.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
