Operations Technician

There is now an opportunity available for experienced Operations Technicians.  The role consists of:

• Monitoring and operating process control equipment, systems and technology in a safe and efficient manner.

• Performing routine checks and maintenance tasks on machines and other equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently.

• Identifying and troubleshooting equipment or system malfunctions and reporting issues to management.

• Installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and tools.

• Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

• Documenting operational activities, data and results for reference and reporting purposes.

• Performing quality control tests to ensure the final product meets set specifications.

• Assisting in developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

• Addressing preventative and corrective maintenance work-orders and ensuring efficient operation of plant and utilities.

• Assisting in the investigation of breakdowns, downtime, and reliability issues.

• Executing activities safely and efficiently in line with Company policies.

Ideally you will have some manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceutical or trade background. A forklift license is also an advantage.
