About The Role

The Maintenance Trade Assistant works as a member of the Property Team and is a permanent full-time position, commencing as soon as possible.

Your day will be varied undertaking repairs and maintenance works on the Schools' properties, performing scheduled maintenance tasks as per work requests, set-up and removal of function equipment as required, and operating plant and equipment required to perform tasks. 

Ideally, you will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Carpentry, tiling, bricklaying, plastering or general building maintenance
• Repairs and maintenance in a commercial, educational or facilities environment
• Using digital work-order systems and cloud-based applications
• Operating iPads, PCs and technology to manage maintenance requests
• Flexibility, initiative and a proactive approach
• A current Class C Driver's Licence
