The Role
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper for a unique Job Share arrangement. You will partner with our existing bookkeeper to maintain seamless financial operations.
Schedule: Alternating roster (1 week on, 1 week off).
Hours: Approximately 30 to 32 hours during your rostered week.
Flexibility: Must be available to cover your job-share partner's annual leave and sick leave.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable.
Perform daily bank and trust account reconciliations.
Process payroll, superannuation and single touch payroll (STP).
Prepare financial data and reports for end-of-month processing.
Maintain accurate electronic financial records and filing systems.
Ensure a comprehensive handover to your job-share partner every fortnight.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally within a law firm or professional services.
Hands-on proficiency with MYOB is preferred.
Some working knowledge of legal trust accounting would be preferred.
Exceptional communication skills to ensure seamless job-share handovers.
High attention to detail and strict respect for client confidentiality.
