What you'll do
As the Principal Program Officer, you will provide authoritative advice to senior departmental leaders and a broad range of stakeholders on complex and sensitive health workforce issues. You will lead the development of high-quality reports, submissions, strategic plans, consultation papers and communication materials to support informed decision-making across Queensland Health. Working collaboratively with State and Commonwealth agencies, health professions and key stakeholders, you will contribute to the development of workforce planning and policy frameworks, build strong partnerships to address workforce priorities, and support the planning, coordination and delivery of early career reform initiatives. You will also champion contemporary workforce practices, uphold Queensland Health's values, and actively contribute to a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
