Middy’s is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Driver to join our branch team.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders safely and efficiently while supporting the branch with stock handling, order processing and day-to-day operations. You will be an important link between the branch, customers and suppliers, helping ensure goods are received, processed and delivered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled delivery runs safely, efficiently and on time.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers.
• Process, pack and prepare customer orders for delivery and collection.
• Receive, check and receipt incoming goods accurately against paperwork.
• Ensure goods are checked before leaving the branch.
• Complete delivery paperwork, maintain records and obtain customer signatures.
• Manage customer delivery and pickup requirements and provide professional service.
• Assist customers with enquiries and support customer credits for returned products.
• Return defective, oversupplied or incorrectly delivered goods to suppliers.
• Assist with organising and maintaining the branch store.
• Work collaboratively with branch staff to support efficient daily operations.
• Maintain accurate information within branch systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve work practices and processes.
• Follow company policies, procedures, relevant regulations and QHSE requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid driver's licence.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• The ability to follow instructions while showing initiative.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, organised and safety-focused approach to your work.

Previous warehouse experience, good organisational skills and a valid forklift licence will be highly regarded.
