Production Manager – Camperdown

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our Camperdown manufacturing operation and drive safety, quality, service and operational performance.

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead the day-to-day manufacturing operation, ensuring DIFOT performance, production efficiency, quality outcomes and a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production operations
• Drive DIFOT performance and ensure quality compliance
• Manage production scheduling and labour planning
• Develop rosters and resource plans
• Act as the link between scheduling, production and logistics
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Lead, coach and develop production team members
• Maintain safety, FeedSafe, HACCP and GMP standards

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 5 years production management experience
• Strong people leadership skills
• Manufacturing and operational planning experience
• Problem-solving and decision-making capability
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in safety-focused environments

Your First 30, 60 & 90 Days

• First 30 Days: Learn the operation, complete inductions, build relationships, understand production processes, review safety and performance metrics, and identify early improvement opportunities.
• Days 31-60: Implement quick wins, improve scheduling alignment, strengthen safety and quality compliance, coach team members and improve operational discipline.
• Days 61-90: Establish performance routines and KPIs, lead continuous improvement projects, strengthen accountability and deliver measurable gains in productivity, safety and DIFOT performance.
