AUSKICK FOOTBALL COACH

Mayne Academy are seeking enthusiastic and skilled AFL coaches to join our growing team on a casual basis with dependable set days each week, delivering fun, engaging AFL sessions to primary school students.

Qualifications & attributes:

• Previous AFL playing experience at any level (Auskick, junior, senior or otherwise)

• Minimum of one year's coaching experience, or prior experience working with kids

• Reliable, punctual and confident working with children across a wide age range

• Energetic and enthusiastic, with a natural ability to be a positive role model

• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain one

• Willingness to obtain a police clearance if not already held

• Driver's licence is preferable

Duties & responsibilities:

• Coach and engage students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in structured, inclusive AFL sessions

• Teach fundamental Aussie Rules skills while building confidence, teamwork and a love of the game

• Create a safe, positive and energetic environment for all participants

• Deliver sessions after school hours, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (3:00pm–5:00pm)
