Licensed Conveyancer

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Conveyancer to join our legal team in Kotara, New South Wales. This permanent, full-time position is essential for facilitating property transactions and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of conveyancing processes and demonstrate exceptional client service skills, contributing to our firm’s reputation for excellence in the legal industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the conveyancing process from initial instruction to completion.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and transfer documents.
• Conduct property searches and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate electronic settlements through PEXA.
• Provide expert advice to clients on property transactions and legal obligations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the conveyancing process.
• Prepare settlement figures and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the conveyancing process.
• Ensure compliance with NSW property legislation and legal requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in property law and conveyancing practices.

Qualifications:

• A valid practising certificate as a Licensed Conveyancer in New South Wales.
• Proven experience in conveyancing, ideally two years experience.
• Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in using conveyancing software and legal research tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
