Chisolm Orthodontics is an established Practice based in the heart of heart of North Adelaide. Known for delivering a world class patient experience and leading and treatments including: Early, Adolescent, Adult, Orthognatic Surgery along with treatments for Syndromes and Clefts. Due to an internal promotion, we are looking to appoint the key role of Dental Assistant/Reception (3IC)

Reporting to the Practice Manager with a view to assisting the Assistance Practice Manager/2IC, this role will working closely with lead Orthodontist Dr Neena Chisholm. This role will primarily work 50% of the time Chairside Dental Assisting whilst 50% working at front desk as the primary point of contact for patient in person and over the phone.

Ideally suiting individual with experience in working within a general dental practice as a Dental Assistant, this role is best suited to those who hold aspirations to take a step towards Practice Management in a small independently owned practice rather than aspiring Dentists. Applicants with orthodontic experience would be highly regarded but not essential.

Offered as a full-time permanent role across 4 days based at North Adelaide, the ability to accompany the Orthodontist to interstate clinics including Mildura and Swan Hill as a travelling resource will be required (up to 6 times a year where you would be based for up to a working week at each visit). Travel is compensated with paid travel time, provided transport along with accommodation and living expenses over and above a competitive base hourly rate. Whilst located primarily in North Adelaide, this role will also be required to travel with our Orthodontist one day per fortnight to work out of our Northern Suburbs Practice.
