Advisory/Investment Banking/M&A
Perth's  finance advisory environment has a handful of bulge bracket satellite offices, independent boutique investment banks, stockbroking, and accounting firms with dedicated offerings in M&A, Valuations, Transaction Services, ECM, DCM, project finance and more.  In total there are now over 100 corporate finance advisors in the local market! 

Corporate Development / In-House
Perth's Corporate Development Market offers in-house opportunities often straddling M&A, strategy, commercial and long range planning, with positions from Analyst through to Chief Development officer and everything in between.  Typically found in medium to larger environments, spanning all industry sectors through our network.  Strong balance sheets and high growth appetite have seen the number of corporate roles skyrocket over recent years.  

Private Equity
With only a handful of PE firms with a presence in Perth, and a few family offices, we do see the occasional opportunity in these environments, which are very competitive.  Roles in investee companies leadership teams are also accessible via Macias, post investment, often with considerable upside potential and competitive packages.

There are pockets of growth and also increasing pockets of caution, generally due to industry sector, global conflicts and political changes.  Overall the market is below all time highs, but also very healthy and above long term averages.  Salaries have maintained their gains but are unlikely to grow further in the near term.  Bonuses have fluctuated wildly firm to firm based on deal value & volume.
