The Opportunity

As Service Team Leader, you'll be responsible for driving service excellence, supporting your team, and ensuring customers receive exceptional outcomes. You'll combine technical expertise, people leadership, and operational oversight to deliver safe, efficient, and profitable service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Chiller Technicians, apprentices, and subcontractorsDrive operational excellence across maintenance, repair, retrofit, and service activitiesProvide senior-level technical expertise on YORK Chillers and related HVAC systemsPerform and oversee commissioning, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenanceBuild strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to enhance service deliverySupport service project planning, scheduling, estimating, and resource allocationManage customer accounts and contribute to business growth initiativesPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and industry standardsPartner with the Service Team Manager to support branch performance and operational goals

About You

You're a technically strong HVAC professional who enjoys leading from the front. You take pride in developing people, building customer relationships, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Ideally, You'll Bring

Trade qualification in HVAC/Refrigeration or equivalent industry experienceMinimum 5 years' relevant industry experience (or 7 years without formal qualification)Strong experience working on centrifugal, screw, or large commercial chillersDemonstrated leadership or supervisory capabilityCommercial awareness and sound business acumenStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsA commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence
