We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at McNamara Lodge in Meadow Springs, a refurbished 96 bed Residential Care Centre located in the southern suburb of Meadow Springs in Mandurah in the heart of the raafa retirement village.  The lodge offers permanent and respite care. This permanent part-time relief position offers ongoing opportunities work relief shifts, with a particular need for nurses available to work Afternoon (PM) and Night shifts.

As a Registered Nurse at raafa, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional clinical care while leading and supporting a team committed to delivering the highest standards of care. Guided by our values of Community, Care & Respect, Courage, and Celebration, you'll help create a positive and supportive environment for residents, families and colleagues alike.

Relief work involves providing cover for planned and unplanned staff absences such as annual leave, sick leave, training or periods of increased resident care needs. Relief shifts offer additional earning opportunities and greater flexibility, while helping ensure continuity of care for our residents.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can provide availability for PM (afternoon) and Night shifts, either on a regular basis or as part of our relief pool.

• Coordinate resident care, assessments and care planning
• Deliver complex clinical care, including medication administration and wound management
• Monitor resident wellbeing and respond to changing clinical needs
• Collaborate with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to Enrolled Nurses and Care Partners
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance and documentation

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Current AHPRA registration
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• A passion for aged care and person-centred support
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• Availability to work PM and/or Night shifts is highly desirable
