About the role
Central Adelaide Local Health Network
Statewide – SA Medical Imaging
About the role
As a Graduate Physicist, you’ll join the SA Medical Imaging (SAMI) team and contribute to the delivery of medical physics and radiation safety support across our medical imaging services. Working across SAMI sites and, where required, state-wide, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment while helping ensure safe, high-quality imaging for patients and staff.
You’ll assist with quality control, radiation dose optimisation and audit activities, while supporting radiation legislative compliance across medical imaging services. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in medical physics while making a real difference to the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Physicist who is keen to apply their physics knowledge in a healthcare environment and develop a career in medical physics and radiation safety. You’ll bring strong analytical and communication skills, a commitment to quality and safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
