Cook / Chef – Full-Time or Casual | Kitchen Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Cook / Chef to take ownership of our kitchen. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys cooking but also wants the opportunity to help shape the menu, develop new dishes and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

The role

• 4–6 days per week depending on experience and availability
• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations
• Prepare and execute menu items consistently
• Develop and trial new menu items
• Help refine recipes, presentation and kitchen processes
• Manage prep, stock levels, ordering and food waste
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness and kitchen standards
• Work closely with ownership on the direction of the food menu
• Help train and guide future kitchen staff as the business grows

Who we're looking for

• Strong kitchen experience as a Cook, Chef or similar
• Confident working independently and taking ownership
• Creative and interested in menu development
• Organised, reliable and calm during busy service
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
• Someone looking for a longer-term role with room to grow

We’re hiring ahead of our October relaunch, with paid training, menu development and onboarding available immediately before renovations begin in September.

This is a great opportunity for the right person to come onboard early, understand the business and have real input into the new menu before reopening.

Our regular 4–6 day roster will commence from reopening in early October.
