Sales Consultant (12 months Contract)

The role

As our Sales Consultant, your mission is to effectively engage and acquire new Small to Medium Business customers by providing exceptional customer service and presenting tailored payment solutions that address their specific business requirements. You will serve as a key frontline representative, ensuring prospective customers receive professional service and develop a clear understanding of our value proposition through either inbound lead conversion or outbound prospecting activities.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will focus on achieving individual sales targets while maintaining accurate CRM records and contributing to a positive team environment through effective presentation of our solutions including EFTPOS terminals, online gateways and Tap on Mobile technologies.

What you’ll do

• Manage and Close Leads: Qualify prospective SMB clients, guide them through the sales funnel, and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Deliver Solution Expertise: Provide exceptional customer service and match client needs with face-to-face, online, or integrated payment products.
• Overcome Objections: Build trust and use consultative selling to answer questions and navigate client concerns effectively.
• Maintain CRM Accuracy: Document all sales activities and client interactions precisely in the CRM system.
• Collaborate and Onboard: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding, implementation, and successful transacting.
