What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan and conduct food safety audits under supervision while working toward auditor registration.

• Apply risk-based thinking to evaluate client processes and food safety systems.

• Document audit findings accurately and help clients understand areas for improvement.

• Work closely with clients and internal teams to manage audit schedules and expectations.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and compliance excellence.

What You Bring

• 10+ years’ experience in the food industry (e.g. QA, production, HACCP implementation, food safety compliance).

• Exposure to at least 5 different food categories with at least 2 years’ industry experience in each. (eg; dairy, baking, food ingredients etc.)

• Exposure to food safety programs such as HACCP, ISO 22000, SQF, BRC, FSSC, Retailer programs.

• A strong desire to grow into a professional auditing career.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• A passion for ensuring food safety and helping businesses improve.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Any internal auditing experience (formal or informal).

• A background in food manufacturing, retail, or regulatory inspections.

• Working knowledge of relevant standards or industry programs.
