Accounts Officer

About the role

This is a full-time position, at Central City Medical Centre, in the Perth CBD.

You will support the practice's financial operations through a range of accounts and reception duties, working with our accountant and management team.

Key responsibilities

• Receipt payments

• Follow up outstanding accounts

• Medicare batching, receipting, and queries

• Pay invoices

• Take phone payments

• Deal with accounts queries

• Billing as required for corporate clients

• Reconcile bank statements

• Reception relief as needed

About you

• Previous accounts receivable and payable experience is preferred

• Previous medical centre experience is desirable, but not mandatory

• Experience with Xero is preferred

• Experience using Best Practice medical software is helpful

• Highly organised

• Supportive team member
