ResponsibilitiesEnsure high level of quality service deliveryAbility to work autonomously to drive business outcomesEnsure compliance with relevant policies and procedures and Aged Care Standards and legislationBe responsible for and manage overall leadership for several community services sites
QualificationsAbility to satisfy the Responsible Persons requirements for the Aged Care Act 2024Knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Home Care Services and Strengthened aged care standardsExperience in management of a health-related setting/ in direct health service delivery
Required Skills Demonstrated competence and interpersonal skills to enable effective communication with all levels of staff, management, and other organisationsManagement of a budget and financial literacyDemonstrated ability to counsel staff and clients and to handle conflict and mediate and negotiate acceptable solutionsDemonstrated ability to recognise when change is required and to initiate and manage the change process through lateral thinking and staff consultationAbility to provide leadership which motivates staff to provide quality client focussed servicesAbility to balance the needs of individuals receiving the service against the needs of populations for access to services and effectively manage theseAn understanding of issues for older people, their families, and carers
