Mindkit Psychology
About the role
About the role
Mindkit Psychology is seeking up to two Clinical or Registered Psychologists to provide neurodiversity-affirming psychological therapy to predominantly adult clients. This is primarily a therapy position. Autism and ADHD identification work is entirely optional and is not required for appointment. Clinicians who wish to develop or extend their assessment practice can access a structured training, supervision and practice-development pathway with our Clinical Director, a Clinical Neuropsychologist.
The available consulting days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with a minimum commitment of two days per week. The role includes predominantly adult therapy work, a combination of in-person and telehealth appointments with regular in-person availability preferred, approximately five to six appointments per consulting day once the caseload is established, and a gradual caseload build over approximately the first two months supported by Mindkit's existing waitlist, referral streams and transferred clients. You will have autonomy over the composition and development of your caseload within appropriate clinical, ethical and practice requirements. Our Clinical Director is ordinarily available Mondays to Wednesdays, providing additional opportunities for informal consultation, collaborative case discussion and professional support.

About us
Mindkit Psychology is a neurodivergent-led private practice providing psychological therapy, Autism and ADHD identification, coaching and practical support. We see clients in person at our Brunswick East practice and by telehealth across Australia. Our clients include Autistic, ADHD and AuDHD adults, as well as people with other forms of neurodivergence and co-occurring psychological difficulties. Many of our clients have experienced late identification, diagnostic overshadowing or previous care that did not adequately account for their neurodivergence. Our approach is clinically rigorous, collaborative and focused on providing explanations and interventions that are both respectful and practically useful. Our integrated team currently includes a Clinical Neuropsychologist, an ADHD coach, a therapy assistant and a clinical assistant. This allows clients to access therapy, identification assessment and practical implementation support within the same practice. We are recruiting in response to sustained growth in adult therapy referrals.
Benefits
Administrative management of bookings, billing, enquiries and referral allocation.
Support with caseload development through an established referral base and current waitlist.
A clinical assistant who supports clinical correspondence and document preparation.
Clinician review and approval of all clinical documents before they are issued.
Access to Mindkit's library of neurodiversity-affirming clinical references, therapy tools and assessment resources.
Access to colleagues working across clinical neuropsychology, therapy, coaching and practical support.
Practice management and clinical systems, including Halaxy, NovoPsych, AI clinical documentation tools and online bilateral stimulation software for EMDR.
A Heidi Health seat, provided by the practice, to support efficient clinical documentation.
Fortnightly practice consultation with clinical neuropsychologist and director, focused on consistency of practice and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
Peer consultation and collaborative case discussion.
